“The one place that never fails to make me happy is Bodo’s Bagels. It is my favorite restaurant in Charlottesville. I went there all the time as a kid as well as in high school with my friends to hang out after class. It is also the place where I meet my friends to catch up while we are in college. Wonderful food and even better memories.”

“I’ve always noticed that I can become happy when someone does something extra special for me. Not just give me a hug, or say they understand, but they do something out of the ordinary that they know is a sure fire way of cheering me up. In high school, my best friend always brought me vanilla milk when I was down because she knew it would always have a positive effect on me. Another time, my long-distance boyfriend knew I was stressed about school, so when he came to visit he left his favorite stuffed animal with me. Whenever I’m upset or stressed out, I give it a little squeeze and it makes me feel like he’s somehow with me.”
